New looks since Aure became Headmaster (snippet from a post in the Mage Tower):
Then he sighed and took a few steps away from Collin. His cape waved and its blue colour seemed to change slightly... but that could've been just the light. The long blonde hair jumped up and down a bit with every step taken, almost in sync with the thud every footstep made. Aure turned around, his cape making a smooth arc until it fell down behind his back again. His clothes were more regal than they used to be - more befitting to a Headmaster. His slacks were white and slightly widened as they fell down over his brown, shining leather boots. The bottom of the slacks were embroidered with a fine gold and blue thread in an intersecting wave pattern. Around his waste he wore a simple yet elegant khaki rope, tied to the side of his body. His short tunic was tied around his waist by the rope. It was also white, but around the v-shaped neck part there was more embroidery of the same type as on his slacks - simple, yet elegant. The sleeves were also a bit widened at the end, to allow for his leather gloves to fit comfortably under the garment. His gloves left his fingers free. On the back of his right hand, a shimmering crystal was set on the glove. Around his neck, Aure wore a fine golden chain, with a roughly cut ruby hanging on his chest.

Aure knows many spells - these are his favourites.
-Standard Fare: Standard mage spells cast in his own way-
*Fireball - No explanation needed.
*Thundercall - Exhibits control over electric discharges. Includes throwing of thunderbolts and orbs of lightning.
*Counterspells - With his extensive knowledge of magic, he can identify and counterspell most spells, even if he can't cast them himself.
-Crystal Spells: Using only his crystal to project magic-
*Crystal Missile - Simple crystal projectiles home in on a foe.
*Crystal Shield - Provides for an almost invisible, but very strong magical barrier.
*Crystal Weapon - His crystal turns into a weapon that can change to any shape.
-Glyph Spells: Using drawn glyphs to project magic-
*Earthen Wall - Using a simple drawn line, Aure can make a wall rise up out of the ground where the line was.
*Weather Spell - Depending on the glyph drawn, Aure can control certain weather aspects, such as thunder. He cannot move out of the glyph, though, and will be drained very fast.
-Ancient Magic: very powerful and very draining magic-
*Time Stop - Using a large glyph, some ingredients and an incantation, Aure can stop time for everyone but him for a brief period.
*Archangel - By focusing energy through Pyre's ruby and his own crystal, Aure can call upon guardian magics to transform himself into a crystal warrior.
-Attunement: Through attunement, Aure can attune his crystal to the strongest energy flows in Hyrule and exercise great control over their power. He loses control over other forms of energy, effectively restricting him to one type of magic only. He can only attune to energy patterns he has been in contact with before. Those are found in Temples, places where particularly strong energy currents flow. He is currently attuned to:
*Forest - Allows him to stream life energy into people, healing them. Allows him to manipulate wood and plant life.
*Light - Allows him to cast top-tier Holy spells and enhances all Holy magic. Some spells are Piercing Light, Holy Shackles, Consecration and Shield of Rauru.
*Water - Allows him to manipulate bodies of water, including changing their states.
-Artifacts: Aure has obtained several powerful magical items besides his ruby and crystal over the times. This is what they do:
*Shard of Wisdom: Is embedded in his left glove and constantly charges by drawing a little energy. When drawn upon, creates a rush of energy that Aure can use to cast a flurry of spells without getting exhausted. Reserve depends on charge time.
*Phoenix Breastplate: Reshaped by the Hyrulean smith and artificer to better fit his needs, this light silver breastplate protects him from physical and magical blows. Its magic flow prevents him from attuning, however.
