Looks: Adrian is a man who has not aged well. His hair is thin and his beard is long. It just so happens that both are white. He is a thin man, just as his hair is thin, and has nearly no muscle mass whatsoever. He is scared from his many years on the planet, and his gnarled hands tell tales that many could never listen to. His gray eyes are piercing in their own way, and could frighten many a maiden. For that matter, they could frighten many a bold and brave lad.

Adrian has long been in the process of starving himself. Just enough so that his body develops a need for less food than that of someone else. He believes that he can out last anyone with this, though it has made him extremely frail.

Clothes: Adrian wears a simple style, one of dark brown robes. They are more of a rusty, ruddy color than a true brown, but can be classified as brown nonetheless. Wehn he is studying the world around him, Adrian also wears a moccasin-style sandal, the type which connects one’s foot to the material through the large and second toe. Other than this, he wears nothing.

Personality: Dark and moody, Adrian is by no means a kind man. He is the type to kill mercilessly for pittance. In fact, he would kill someone for a fresh corpse to futher his studies of the hylian body. Adrian loves to study the human body, and has made some discoveries that would be remarkable for medicine, if he were so inclined to give up the knowledge to bureaucrats and doctors.

He speaks in a deep voice with an odd, unplaceable accent. It has been said that the accent is ’scary’, though Adrian could never figure out why. He was merely born in a faraway place with no connection to the current world in which he resides.

Adrian keeps to himself more often than not. He enjoys the company of nobody, and would rather study a redead or gibdo than speak to a person. His thoughts are morbid and revolve around blood, muscle tissue, and torture. That’s another of Adrian’s hobbies, torture. He has found that he is quite sadistic, and derives pleasure from the screams of others. Especially innocents.

Also, Adrian has no sense of right and wrong. He does what he wants to, because he was never tought to do any morals. So if he does something wrong, he doesn’t know that it is wrong, and the same for things that are right.

Biography: Adrian was born in a faraway land, much further than the borders of Hyrule from Termina. Nobody knows how he made it to Termina as a child, but one thing is for sure… he cannot go back. Whatever force led him to this strange land never meant to come back for him.

As a child, Adrian was a curious one, having only come to this land knowing his name and being pegged with an odd accent that nobody seemed to understand. He became interested in anatomy young, liking what he saw with other people and how they moved.

He wanted to learn what made them work the way they did, and so, one day, he killed one. Broke a child’s neck. Adrian was 16 at the time, and didn’t understand much of what he saw when he dug into the boy. All he noticed were the various organs and the blood that was spilling everywhere as he cut into him with a small dagger (the same one he carries today).

Soon enough, he figured out a way to bring them back. It’s not completely magic, but more of a way of mixing his skills with anatomy with some natural magic power that he has. Think of it like hotwiring a dead car. He’s putting things together in a way that they spark the life back into the person for a temporary amount of time, and extending that, as well as his own control, with magic.

It was a complete accident that he found it, and it only spurred him on further in his studies. Soon, he found that he began to enjoy cutting people open while they were still alive, as he could watch the organs work until the person in question died. It was stimulating and quite satisfying. The man got a visceral thrill out of it.

Eventually, he became a sort of hermit, running out of Clock Town one step ahead of the guards. He ran until he was in Ikana. The climb over the waterfall nearly killed him, but he made it nonetheless. And, for the last forty-or-so years, he’s lived there. The gibdos are interesting to study, as they’re preserved not only with conventional mean,s but also by magick. Studying the magick helps Adrian to learn more about what he can do to keep a corpse alive for longer.

Item storage: Adrian carries little with him. He can usually be found with a dagger and a nutrient potion on his body, but nothing more. Unless, that is, he is carrying a corpse with him for study.

Skills: Necromancy. His one weapon. Adrian can reanimate a corpse to fight for him. Whatever abilities that corpse had during life are Adrian’s to control, whether it be offensive magicks, blade skills, or hand-to-hand combat. While he is in the state of animating a corpse, Adrian is completely useless and cannot do anything himself besides move. He cannot speak, or even concentrate on anything other than self-preservation for himself, as his thoughts are on the corpse and its skills. Still, it is a usefull weapon.

Weapon and items: An old, gnarled wooden staff is on Adrian’s person at all times. He uses it as a focus for his magicks, and will focus his energies into it before sending them into a corpse. His dagger is used for carving small fruits and meats for food if he were fortunate enough to find one.

Starting Place: Ikana Canyon, studying the corpses and Gibdos there.
