With Thanksgiving almost upon us in the States, I'm going to talk about food.
I personally enjoy anything with Teriyaki sauce; I might even eat a car slathered in the stuff. I also like Indian food. Curry is really a great thing, y'know? And of course, the stereotypical bug family-sized turkey.
Well, I've whetted my appetite. Anybody else?

Personally not a fan of curry or anything too hot, it really spoils the tonsils.
Italian always does it for me, except for the salads. I'm not a rabbit.

You should try these things... They're called "vlammetjes" in Dutch. Don't know the English name.
Now those are hot. 2 or 3 of those in a row, and you'll be running for the tap in no time.

Curry for the win. Ate it 2 days in a row =P. You can make it as hot as you want though.

I. Like. Shrimp Alfredo.

Made by the glorious Olive Garden.
Anyone who disagrees with me will descend to the
nth circle of Hell.

I must admit, Wrinkles, that I've never been to an Olive Garden. But Shrimp Alfredo sounds absolutely exquisite right now. As for me, I like a good pie.

I feel like such a simpleton.
I love sateh with a few slices of bread.
Eat the sateh, eat sauce with bread. Quick and delicious.

What?! Even I have been to an Olive Garden

It's pretty good stuff they have there, and so cheap... Especially if you go for SSB (soup, salad, bread sticks). Basically, all you pay for is the soup, since salad and bread sticks are free

*never even heard of Olive Garden* SSB must be awesome, just because of the name.
I've had a simple dinner. Steak and delicious... uhm... baguette. Simple, very nice none the less ^^"

Oh, food! I live off of tortellini without broth (for all you who have never discovered the awesomeness of my gourmet pre-packaged tortellini, I will post the recipe)
You will need;
Louisa cheese Tortellini
Pot
Water
Stove
tupperware cereal bowl
plate
(optional) Strainer
Stick butter (land o' lakes prefferably)
Fork
Put water on to boil at medium high. Once boiling, fill bowl with tortellini, and pour into pot. Set timer for 4:30 and wait. Once the timer has gone off, strain the tortellini with the plate or strainer, then put it back in the pot. Cut about 3-4 mm of butter with a fork (or knife if your fork isn't sharp) and spread it around into the tortellini and pot. Pour buttered tortellini onto plate and serve with the fork (this makes a large-ish amount of tortellini, so don't eat it all unless you want to be fat like me).
I'm also a fan of a heated tortillia with un-melted shredded sharp cheddar cheese wrapped up like a pseudo-burrito. I'm your prime picky example of pickyness.

Olive Garden is an American restaurant chain that serves cheap Italian food. When you go to the States, be sure to visit one

Oh, I know all about Olive Garden. I've seen all sorts of the commercials and advertisements, and it was through no fault of my own that I've never been to Olive Garden. My hometown, the towns all around my hometown, and my college town, all are unfortunately lacking an Olive Garden. I want to go to one, and first chance, will do so. I just haven't been able to yet.

I've never been to
Olive Garden either, but I have walked by one in a mall, in the town about an hour away from my home town. It smelt really good, but I did not have much money at the time, perhaps one day. I like Italian foods such as pepperoni pizza, twice baked ziti, spaghetti and much more. Right now I could really go for a pumpkin pie and a pecan pie, both ala mode (with ice cream on top). Yum, Yum, delicious.

Ack! Pecan pie sounds divine right now. I'm almost in luck, though. It's just about to hit Thanksgiving and I'm celebrating a feast every night for the whole week! (Each for different reasons. Family, friends, clubs.)

I have not tried your recipe yet, but I have had some tortellini once before, and I really liked it. Unfortunately it was only a small package of it, and I wanted more. I'll probably eat somemore one day, but not anytime soon, running low on cash.

My family fails when it comes to food.
Thanksgivin' breakfast consists of poptarts and dr. pepper.
The actual meal is sneakin' over to the grandparent's house and grabbin' slices of 'Greenberg.
Lastly, blue 'ritas at night.
Nothin' fancy. :)

And obviously, you should be thinking even later.
I don't think it went like:
"Lol, Messiah died. Let's celebrate his birthday every year for shits and giggles."

For some reason we do celebrate Sinterklaas' "birthday" every year... Which turned out to be his dyingday, and later I find out that 5 december was his "naming day"... I didn't bother with the rest, really...
Besides that, Christmas is Jesus' birthday.. No room in the inns, giving birth between animals in a stable, crib-thing, three wise men, you get my drift. Easter is when he got crucified.

Nono, Good Friday is when he died, Easter Sunday is when he rose from the dead... Get your relifacts right!

Oh right. Goes to show how much I

I knew it was somewhere around easter though..
Either way, before derailing this thread like a madman let's get back to food
It was once a tradition to eat with all the members of the family together. And everybody would bring a course for the meal. My favorite course was dessert!
But this year we're going bowling and eat in shmancy restuarant. Loads of fun!

There is no year zero in the Christian calendars! In both our current Gregorian and the earlier Julian calender,
1 BC is followed by 1 AD. Besides, they don't even know, of course, exactly when (or if)
Jesus was born.
