This was inspired by Rian's signature! I laughed at it a lot, and decided to actually make a Zelda credit card. Here it is!



I built the entire thing from scratch in Photoshop, so more work went into it than it looks. Heh.

I must say, I am not a fan of credit cards, but I would use this one.

The hologram was very frustrating to make, but I think it turned out ok. I might play with it a bit more, if I get bored.

I'm still insisting that my drawing skills are sub-par (the downside of going to an art school), but here's something I've been spending way too much time on. It's very much a work-in-progress but now that my break is ending I don't know when I'll get to finish it...



It's drawn in pencil. And I know it looks like colored pencil, but the coloring is actually all done in photoshop.

A very late reply to this, but I just wanted to say this: there are various companies that let you put a personal picture on your creditcard / bankcard you know.

Nicely done anyhow. Nice touch with the texture on the card. Maybe try to make the shiny chip a bit more realistic?

Well, you might see more now that I'm out of photography school! That ate up about 98% of my artistic creativity...And, sadly, none of it was Zelda-related so no posting here (I do mostly product photography).
Actually, I have something I've been working on for a while, just never had the time to finish. Perhaps you will see that soon?

Ok, I've worked this image enough to post. There are things (as always) that I'm not ecstatic about, but here it is:

This is actually nice work. You certainly show skill in photoshop.

If I might make a suggestion though.. The low walls in front of the water should have the top visible with this perspective. And I think the sign should have it too, but looks less weird than those tiny walls.
It wouldn't just fix the perspective, but they would look less as if made out of cardboard, too.

It's been a good while since I did any Zelda/ZF art. So I thought I'd update with a little doodle I did for fun!

I might polish it up later (all I did in Photoshop was coloring and I can see where it needs actual editing), but for now I hope you enjoy it!

Well, I do love playing villains. It's so much fun!

I decided to draw Reese if he were evil because I had a sad realization that I don't have a villain character on ZF. I had planned for Sandhya to become one, originally, but she's moving farther and farther away from that. I think this is a better storyline for her, but it makes me sad nonetheless...

(The other unfortunate thing is that I love both Sandhya and Reese too much to let one go and make a new, evil character. )

We will aaaaalways be waiting for you on the dark side.

Also...nice art! I love that you animated your avatar. I'm so jealous of everyone on here that does that kind of stuff.

Anyway, glad you like the pic! Also, Raz, I'm happy you enjoy Reese's 2nd expression. It almost didn't get included, so I'm happy the decision was worth it.

More art! I secretly (unless I've mentioned this before, I can't remember XD) love making maps and floor plans. That might sound boring, but I promise it's awesome!

Oh, I made them too once or twice. It's really nice to have something like this for reference when you're writing or making comics.

I spot a very modern kitchen and a toilet !!

Ok, the toilet I'll give you...Haha. I did the bathroom last and I was getting lazy. XD However, I will argue the kitchen! The dark brown thing is an ice box, not a fridge and that's a wood-burning stove, I had the smoke pipe visible but it wasn't recognizable so I changed it.

Oh wow, can you believe I did the exact same thing with Arsenic's house a while back? Of course, that meant I planned on having him acquire the house long before the event... though the event's reward just made it happen much sooner! And it must be that great minds think alike, eh?

I'm seeing plenty of similarities too... in the photoshop textures, style of the furniture... even choice of amenities. Love it!

There you go, Collin! I've edited my floor plan. Now there's no more toilet and a proper wood-burning stove to leave no doubt in your mind.

So, do you just do it out of the window or hold it up forever like every other sheikah (those guys are hardcore you know)

Lol, ok well there is still toilet in a way, just not a porcelain, modern version. You might notice a wooden box with a hole in it across from the sink... (I thought that kind of "toilet" had a different name but Wikipedia has failed to supply me with it.)

In Dutch those are often referred to as 'het schijthuis' (the shithouse), but that was more often a little shack, like the one Shrek has near his little house in the woods. I also very much doubt its the official title.

It could be a latrine, though. But I might be wrong there.

Latrine was the roman word for public bathrooms(/brothels, because romans were very dirty people). I don't know if the word has a different meaning today.

That's a really cool idea you and Arsenic are doing. I'm kind of confused about how the stairs connect to the first floor, though. o.O

Also, about evil Reese pic: my first thought was Sith Lord. xD He looks so EEEVIL! I think I like good Reese, LOL. But evil Reese makes an excellent doppelganger.

You know, I was just debating with myself whether I should put in the outline of where the stairs sit on the 1st floor! I might do that later, but not today. For now, I'll just say that the stairs sit inconveniently in the middle of everything! Um, it's actually a bit of a design error on my part, but that's ok. They might end up being REALLY steep to fix it. XD


Then my doodle is a success! I declare win!
