This is very important for anyone participating in the IC events at the Graveyard of IkanaYou might have guessed the purpose of this topic by its name:
This topic is created for all the Roleplayers who are in the Graveyard of Ikana (IC). As you may know, the situation is rather tense: we are trapped by Poes, who will try to keep us in the Graveyard until Keeta comes to slaughter us all. A drawing of the situation:
______

_____
Mission Briefing:
We join forces and break through the defence of the Poes. We will then escape from the graveyard to the south. There is no way we can take on Igos. We will flee to Termina Field. The victims with Stallfever will be transported to Clock Town, where they will receive medical care. The healthy warriors will see for themselves what they will do. I think it'd be wise to wait until reinforcements from Clock Town or Hyrule will join you in your battle against the way stronger army of Igos.
Important groups:
-Grimburn the Dodongo with the ill and injured
-The healthy/ones able to fight/warriors
-Enemies. Mainly Poes.
Top priority: Get the ill and injured safely to the safe Clock Town.
How: -Break through the defensive lines of the Poes. This will be done by joining forces and striking all at once.
-Then we'll flee into the passage to the south, as quick as possible. The persons able to fight will protect Grimburn from the attacking Poes at all cost. Grimburn must keep moving (so he'll be vulnerable)!
-After the passageway, we'll end up in a area with two passages: one to Ikana (East), the other one to the field (West). We'll flee to Termina Field. The warriors will try to keep the enemies away from Grimburn. Once again, Grimburn must not be stopped!
-Find shelter in Clock Town. The ill and injured will seek professional healers.
In short:Escape from the Graveyard by breaking through the defence of the Poes. Escape the Graveyard through the passage to the south. Warriors must protect the injured on Grimburn's back. Avoid being surrounded by keeping your speed up. Eventually flee to Termina Field, and from there to the safe city of Clock Town.
NOTE:
Do not post any of this yet IC. First, we must discuss this plan/mission in this topic. If we all agree with this plan, then we'll discuss on how we are going to do this in the topic itself, and eventually we will write and post the mission.
A point of discussion: are we going to do collaborative posts (each RP'er writes a short post on what he does, and these posts are collected into a big post by one person.)? This will make it easier for everyone to understand the situation. We must prevent this mission from becoming a chaos.
We can do this! =D

It may be possible...
One flaw of one poster however could endanger everyone else, (Also note I am the most likely to do this

) So we need to discuss the breaking of the poes and possiblly maybe we could assign what happens to someone in their post. That may work...

Zeke is already out of commission, so he won't be able to help very much. He's closer to the army than you are tho, so if you try to rescue him, it would imply going outside the ring of poes. So don't try. I have a plan for him.
Shrale
May 12 2009, 04:09 AM
Keep in mind that Grimburn is a dodongo which is fairly well armored, and can only be killed by swallowing a bomb. The ill and injured on his back do need the protection, though. Doosk was going to help Zeke, although if he is out side the ring of poes, then Doosk may not be able to penetrate the ring to get to him, so he'll ride Grimburn for guidence. To control the dodongo, Shrale will have to allow Doosk use of the Demitri Gauntlet, which is fine.
Breaking through the ring of poes will involve the combined force of all our light magic or light enchanted weaponry. Shrale now has the combined power of his own along with Sekos, his father. So Shrale can use this to form multiple light swords or some other weapon to smash through the ring. Poes are usually weak to light and fire, I believe, so this amount of power should break the ring. If this fails, we could always use a summon a cyclone and suck the poes into jars, but that would only work if we all had some jars to imprison them in. At times like these I wish we had a Gust Jar. Another thing that might work is for Shrale to toss his Phoenix boomerang, thus summoning a phoenix which could vanquish all the poes in one toss and return to Shrale's claw. Then we could get Zeke and high-tail it out of the graveyard.
Anymore ideas?

Like I said, I have plans for Zeke. Red/Rea gave me an idea, and I plan to play on it.
Nyx
May 12 2009, 01:44 PM
Zeke: Alright, but if you manage to find some time within your personal plot... help is always welcome (at least until we're out of the Graveyard).
Shrale: That could work out indeed. However, wouldn't it be more "realistic" if Grimburn charged through the defence of the Poes, while Shrale and the other warriors would give Grimburn support? I think the combined forces of Grimburn + Doosk, Shrale (and Sekos), and Rian (right?) would be enough, while staying "realistic".
Shrale
May 12 2009, 02:18 PM
Zeke: That's fine do what you have planned.
Nyx: Yeah, it is more realistic and dramatic to charge the poe ring with us protecting Grimburn. Umm... When we have all our post ready, who is going to post the combined post? Should we send our post sections via PM, for collection purposes?
Nyx
May 12 2009, 02:31 PM
I think it depends on it. If we want to do this with long, dramatic posts, then we shouldn't use a collaborative post. However, if everyone involved with breaking the Poe's defence writes a short and clear post of his actions, a collaborative post would be nicer -and a lot faster than everyone writing individual posts.
If we're gonna do it that way, I suggest Shrale should post the collaborative post: after all, his Grimburn (and Shrale himself too) will be of great importance in the first (collaborative) post.
Of course, I'll be prepared to receive, collect, and combine the post-sections.
Do we agree?

May 12 2009, 02:34 PM
Just to add a bit of Info. Siren will probably attempt to stop you from escaping since he is loyal to Ikana. Just thought you oughta know.
Nyx
May 12 2009, 03:01 PM
Hmm. Thanks for noticing. Though Siren is there, I doubt if he'd be able to hold back a whole group of people and a Dodongo, right?
Rian
May 12 2009, 04:55 PM
Rian's blade, Cadabolg, is also a light-enchanted weapon, so that should help.
Not being puked on would help too.
Nyx
May 12 2009, 06:46 PM
Rian: That puking was a payback for being on Igos' side first =P
Anyway, I think you're the perfect person for this: Rian is one of the few who's alive and kickin', and he has a weapon based on light-magic. With Rian on our side, we'll definitely get through those Poes (and Siren).
Shrale
May 12 2009, 07:46 PM
Okay, then when you get your posts ready, simply send it as a PM to me and I'll combine them into one and post it. If the posts do not flow easily together, do any of you object to me putting in some transitions?

Yeah, Siren's would probably lose against light weapons, but truthfully, all Siren could do to slow you guys down is power up the poes. But that would weaken him severely.

Siras: Perhaps you could send a post-section to Shrale too, so he can integrate your post into the big collaborative post?

I have to say, I'm pretty excited about this collaborative escape from the graveyard. I like being able to read the general plan. The coolest part is, I still have no idea what's going to happen, and the suspense is killing me. Can't wait! Good luck everybody!

I've got Ventus' post, and Rian's so far. Anybody that wants to have a post in the large post, should go ahead and PM it to me as soon as you have time, this includes any of the afflicted. I want to try to get the large post, posted at least by the middle of next week. I've still to write mine for Shrale and Doosk, so do as I would, make it a good post. Good luck.

Please keep details of how Shrale should add your post into the big post into PM's. I guess this thread's purpose is about discussing the plan.
So, while
the post will be there somewhere next week, a next point of discussion is what and how we're gonna do the next post. That post will be about the passage from the Graveyard to the south. At the end of the passage there are two ways to go: to Ikana and to Termina Field.
I'll write that post, so if you'll all send your post-segments about "The Passage" to me, I'll make it into a big post.
EDIT: I guess it's better to write these post-segments after we've read the result of Shrale's work! =)

May 15 2009, 03:52 PM
Ventus: Yes that is perfectly fine, the way Ventus wound up on the dodongo. Keep up the good writing.
Nyx: Good point about waiting to see the finished post from me. By the way what kind of enemies are generally in that area between Ikana and Clocktown? I realize that we'll probably come upon some more undead, but what else is there to attack us on our way. Of course there is also Siren, that is trying to stop us too.
Nyx
May 15 2009, 04:20 PM
I think our main enemies will be the Poes (and Siren) in the Ikana region. Between Clocktown and Ikana there are a lot of Real Bombchu's (dangerous for Grimburn?).

We're actually heading there for other reasons, not to join the war (as things develop, maybe we would later). For now, we've got business of our own there. I just didn't want it to be a surprise to anyone when we show up!

When we are in Clocktown and the ones with Stallfever are healed, Team Extra Ordinary will go its own way. At this moment, there aren't many clues that Clocktown will be attacked, so "protecting Clocktown" isn't really relevant at this point; it might be in the future though.

Obviously we're aware of that, but that doesn't mean our characters are heading there with the intent to join a war. Well...Ellaz might have that intent later, as his character's a mercenary. Regardless, it will clearly factor into our own business there, but that's not

Alright! Shrale, you did a great job on that post. Thanks a lot!
The next post will be about the passage to Termina Field while being chased by the Poes/enemies.
Mission: keep Grimburn (with the prisoners on his back) moving, keep the dangerous Real Bomchus away from Grimburn and defend yourself and Grimburn!
I'll do this combined post. If you'd all send your posts to me, I'll combine and post the big collaborative post.
Deadline: Wednesday. Preferably sooner though. I'll try to have the post all done by Friday.
EDIT: Please note that I -perhaps- will edit the exact words of your posts a bit, so the whole post will feel more like "one" post. The content of your posts will stay the same though.

It appears that Schwarz is now defending the rear of the group with some magic. I guess he can continue to do so if that is okay with you Zeke. Doosk will continue to control Grimburn, while Seji can be our eye-in-the-sky. I think I'll have Shrale try to keep the real bombchus away as best as he can.
Nyx: You wouldn't really have to edit words, just add in some lines to make it make sense, that's what I did. I did, however, pull some of the post apart and place them in kind of a chronological sequence to make the event flow even more nicely. Note that characters had parts in different sections of the post instead of all together, but I did not change words, just repositioned some parts.
Nyx
May 23 2009, 09:29 PM
Shrale: Yeah, I'll just see what enters my Inbox and make it into a fitting complete thing. But, for example, I think it'd look odd if one part of the post is in a present tense, while another part is in a past tense.
