Mono
Name: Mono
Gender: Male, last time he checked
Age: Doesn't know, doesn't care.
Race: Korok.
Class: Smith.

Looks: He's a tiny bit longer than most Korok, about one metre. But in later years he mainly expanded sideways. He's one fat Korok. He can barely move his arm-branch-things and has to move his whole body when he has to reach for something straight before his face.
Once beautiful green, his overly expanded body is now closer to brown. Some shades of green remain, but he isn't the green mean bean machine from earlier years. The leaf that can be seen as his head is still red, even if it turned darker in the years. It isn't in prime condition: the sides are turning black and slowly folding back in itself.
Like all Koroks he makes sounds when he walks. Not the tingling kind, it has more in common with Hyrulian farts.

Clothes: He’s wearing a brown apron, but that looks now more green (and brown, at the same time) than himself. Full of stains, and he says he doesn’t have the time to wash it. Once every five years is enough. Beyond that, he’s pretty much naked.

Personality: Glowing, cheery, somewhat naive, but always loyal and going the extra mile to please the ones around him. Bouncy, wobbly, simply delighful.
At least, that was about a hundred years ago. He calls himself wiser, others prefer to use the words ‘grumpy’ and ‘cynical’. Or selfish, but that’s not true. It’s just that other people come second place. It takes ages to get his respect, which just means he stops beating you (even though he isn’t fast enough to hit anyone).
There is a tiny amount of good leadership left in him, which makes him the good smith he is in Kakariko. What damages his reputation though, besides his general attitude, is the amount he smokes. He likes to smoke so much that he sometimes uses his own leaves when he has nothing else, but they make him feel a bit funny.

Biography: There was a time, over a hundred years ago, where he was the great messager of the Deku Tree. Whenever he needed to communicate something about the outer world, he asked Mono to do it. He loved adventure and was the best at speaking with people of all races.
But one day, it all went wrong for the then-young Mono. He flew above Death Mountain. He knew it was dangerous, but he was already late. It erupted and torned the leaves he was flying with. Mono fell just besides the lava and rolled down. He was rolling for at least half an hour until he landed in Kakariko, face-down on a roof. Luckily he was helped by a bunch of old ladies in town, that found him there. Stuffing him with pies and other sweets until his leaves grew back, a few months later. However, he grew so fat in that time that his leaves couldn’t hold him and he was quickly abandoned by those ladies. He was so fat they didn’t find him cute anymore.
As the joker fate is, he became a smith. Not that he had any natural talent for that, but it was the only job left in Kakariko to take. It took fourty-nine years of adjusting and plain hard work, but he reached a leadership position. As the Head Smith he lead the smithy to the worst years it ever had. He was just too fat to do his work properly. The rest of the smithy decided that the only thing they could do is mutiny. So now Mono is walking across Hyrule Field, searching for a place to get some work. Hyrule Castle Market? Well, maybe...

Item storage: He has two pockets in his apron, enough to store some small tools and tabacco needed for smoking.
Skills: He knows everything that can be made out of steel, even though he needs some help in the realisation. And he can provide anyone with something to smoke in about fifteen seconds. And oh, he has some left knowledge from his time with the Deku Tree.
Weapon and items: Some small tools, which he can throw. And some tobacco and leaves he uses for a smoke.
Starting Place: Hyrule Field. Somewhere in the middle. He thinks.

And no, he doesn’t have any NPC’s. They’re lame. He had a cuckoo once. It had to be put to sleep. It made him cry. He’s crying again now we mention it. You just had to mention it, didn’t you? Are you happy now? ARE YOU HAPPY!?

O hi! Sorry for the wait, gosh I'm apologizing rather often lately. But with Wrinkles fixing his crash of doom, and Alan and Aure somewhere in the states and even Twig somewhere outside the borders. And don't forget Readen dealing with the event and whatnot... I'm a busy bee. ;-; It's up to me to check these things

All of that and all I can do it check and say let's wait for another admin to approve.

I guess this leaves me only with the option of kicking Aure into gear... disgust.gif

Ah yeah, I read this but didn't check it. Sorry! Make sure the Korok smith doesn't become too grumpy tounge.gif
