We're back online!
We have some good and some bad news. Let's start with the bad news.
All the posts in the Navi section are GONE. Nothing left of them. Poof, swoosh, away.
Good news:
Everything else still exists.
Explanation (WARNING: TECHY):
The hacker has merely figured out Aure's password (don't worry it's now changed and unguessable) and then emptied the Navi forum of all posts, deleted Yaku and Gubai's accounts and then deleted all Root Forums. Then he uploaded a php exploit which he luckily didn't use, and he added an iframe to the Hyrule & Minish skin.
I used a very old backup (6 months old) to put the root forums back, after that I had to change the parent id's of the forums to the new roots and everything was back. The News & Announcements root was made anew by adjusting another root forum backup since it wasn't present in the backup.
We then reconfigured the permissions and everything should be in order again.

Update 2:
Yes, another update. I'll just keep you all informed about what's going on. I've just updated the board to it's latest version to make sure it has all the available security updates, I've adjusted CHMOD settings and all admin accounts have new passwords, unguessable and also not prone to brute force cracking software.

Update:
I have some good news: all posts and topics are still in the database. These have been backed up immediately (so boo to you hacker) and all forums will be fixed soon. This will probably fix our problem and let you all players play on.
Unfortunately, this means I'll have to fill in about 15 columns for every single forum and I have to figure out the contents of those columns by comparing topic and post content. So this will take a while. Probably a day (or maybe two).
