Alright, I read Garc's question about NPC meetings and all, but I'm still confused a bit about it. Like say, if Rian is in Hyrule, and I want post a quick bit about how Vali (Rian's mortal enemy) is doing evil stuff in Termina. Would I just say what Vali is doing in my posts in Hyrule? Or, would I post in Termina, and say that I was doing this from Vali's point of view?

Don't post as two characters at once. If you have a mortal enemy, your character only knows about this enemy through information he receives. Whether they're news reports, dreams, it must all be done from your character's perspective. There will then of course be things your character doesn't know, but that's natural for anyone, obviously. If you really want to play as two characters, you can do that by making a new app on a new account (although we don't encourage a player having two characters that are connected).

But let's say the villian's plot has a goal that could potentially affect characters throughout the board?

Then you have to run it through us regardless. Being admins and all, we like to know about world-affecting things. And if that's the case, you definitely need a new character.

World affecting things, if the admins don't know, are generally bad. In fact, Beltingson can't even be a bad guy "officially" because he's my personal character. Bad guys, generally speaking, must be NPCs, if they want to be "official" and "site-sponsored".

That makes Cruor sad.
;.;
You see? Sad.

You can be a bad guy, and you can potentially affect the whole world, Cruor - you just won't be the official storyline villain.

I was actually wondering about this but what if you want to kill off one of your characters and say, he's evil or he's become insanely evil, would it be possible to set up a small event with the admins that got announced? Just as a mini-epic in which the person who controlled the character would control him/her like an admin would control an NPC and eventually the character in question would get killed in the battle.

We'll have to decided that case-by-case, Alan ;P

Understood. I guess I'll just abandon that idea...

D'aww, don't be discouraged right away

There are lots of ways to make things work, you just have to be creative! If you want, I can help you, just send me a PM or something.

Creativity is more of a virtue than patience is. Beltingson is the work of less patience and more creativity, and he delivers a villain very well.
